Week 3 of blogging.

So it’s Sunday and one week has passed again.  Beginning my day I was thinking that this should be another lazy Sunday among others but after opening my laptop I noticed how wrong I had been; a lot of deadlines right around a corner and a lot of work still needed to finish (start) those projects. Well after a massive amount of work I’m ahead of schedule again and last thing to do is finish this blogpost.

Monday September 25.

We had two visiting lecturers to our class on Monday. A Telia employee speaking about digitalization; what it is and what does it mean, and why is customer experience important, how do you “do it” and what kind of capabilities does it mean for us. An interesting approach to important subjects.
The second visiting lecturer was Faheem who taught us online marketing and how to make the most of it by using free tools available online. He showed us how to determine the best way to put ads online and how to analyze your current ads and their clicks by customers.

Thursday September 28.

On Thursday we had a joint class with Leppävaara’s students again. The class was held again by Christopher Evatt, an interesting person from New Zealand. The class was pretty similar to last weeks and included a lot of brainstorming in random groups. The main theme of class was learning how to get other people do stuff for you and help you on your goals. Chris also told us a few interesting stories about himself on his “business adventures” and also one story from his childhood with a lesson that stuck with me pretty well; “leave everything better than you found them”. That can be related to people and business and is a pretty good life advice.
